The Paraguayan Chamber of Meat celebrates in Chile "The Night of the Meat"

Noche de la Carne Paraguaya en Chile

The Chamber of Meat held at the Hotel Santiago of Santiago in Chile the promotional event "The Night of the Meat" attended by importers and Chilean's meat industry in addition to other members of the meat chain of the country butchers and restaurants.

The action was launched to promote the Paraguayan products in Chile, one of its main markets and where it may have opportunities due to the flow of meat exports that is changing towards China.

Korni Pauls, representative of the Chamber, said that 30% of the meat that Chile imports comes from Paraguay. "The type of meat we produce is highly appreciated: it is a meat with much lower fat than other meats". Pauls added that since 2018, Chile has imported nearly 100,000 tons of Paraguayan meat, for value of 500 million dollars.
